Eddy Modde posted a discussionThere are many naturist villages, but none are ecological/sustainable.
There are more and more sustainable communities, but as far as I know none of them allow naturisme.
I would like to live and work in a sustainable community in the south of Europe. As far as I know there is one place like this in the Dominican Republic called Cambium www.cambiumbene.com.
There is also something similar in Brazil. Here is a nice friendly video of Colina del Sol
But I would like to stay in Europe.
Being naked and not be ashamed of it or judge about it, gives a great sense of freedom. Besides the fact that the warm sun and wind on your skin feels great, it's purity, serenity, peaceful, feels in harmony with nature. It is the ultimate acceptance of ourselves and others. Respect for each other and nature is first priority. This is why I feel like it naturally fits in with eco/sustainable living. Of course everybody in the community would have be a naturist or be very open minded to it.
At the moment we are trying to sell our horse farm in the Netherlands (www.horsemansretreat.nl). We've had a natural horse business for 10 years. I could still do this as a means of income, but would prefer to work on a sustainable community. My other passion is spirituality and I love to play guitar, sing, dance and cook.
