EcoVillage Weaver's Page

Admin Corner

My team and I have worked, lived, and traveled to various sustainable communities and EcoVillages throughout our lives and the one common need that we have seen among these communities is a solid online networking hub that would allow connections to happen between communities. This network's first priority is to create this hub in a way that allows connections to be built between communities that will:

* Maximize the opportunities that are emerging in our present global climate.

* Share and exchange information, resources, ideas, innovations, and encouragement.

* Build and create new relationships with kindred pioneers..

* Create a portal to the mainstream world that is more than eager to receive the wealth of guidance, education, services, and products that communities have to offer.

* Allow for communities to have maximum opportunity to access monetary resources to further expand and develop their infrastructure.

2010-2020 - Heralding in a Decade of Interdependent Sustainability!

Greetings Interdependent Community Sphere Members!

We figured all of you had plenty of 'Happy 2010' emails to read the past few weeks so we wanted to send ours a little further into the turning. Also Susan (the Sphere's executive administrator) has been very busy regrouping from graduation and taking some good time out from her whirlwind communities & events tour this past year - which we have began releasing media from on the… Continue

Thanks for welcome. So glad to meet this group! It's been one of a million dreams of mine for fifteen years to see the day when our kind of communities can share and converge so thanks for the work to make the platform for such a good gathering of like-minds. I can tell there are seasoned communitarians just by the overall tone and feel, difficult to describe. I like explaining community to non-community people in workshops but this is thrilling to be able to be with others who have a shared foundation of reality of community life and building alternative culture. Much good will come of this, I suspect.
