Many questions remained with me on how to start a new lifestyle living sustain ably with nature loving community. I am entering my forties into yet another life 'junction' to make a new direction in my life with my family - my loving wife and 2 lovely young children. My wife agrees to consider such lifestyle when I retired from work but today, the idea becoming stronger each day! She is worried very much about becoming poor in terms of monetary which might effect our children future. My decision is very much influenced by my wife acceptance to the new way of living... so anyone out there with experience can help me seek for a solution. A brief descriptions of me in order to fit into a community...
1. Malaysian citizenship, worked for 20 years until now in graphic industry as sales person.
2. Loves outdoor especially forest or jungle. Cycling is my best! Enjoy growing food and like permaculture concept, expressive, emotional, honesty, compromise, welcomes changes.
3. Never smoke, drinks occasionally, vegetarian, natural healing, no chemical use on body, believes in mother nature.
4. Owns 2 residential property still under bank mortgage, 2 cars, 3 motorcycles, 5 bicycles.
Next year, I have plans to visit Sieben Linden from 16-20 May and Auroville from 19-24 June.
Ultimately at one point, from my experience, I would like to start an eco-village community here in Malaysia.
My sharing is meant to be truthful in return for serious advise.
Many thanks and with love from Malaysia,
Alexander McNAB.
